Biographical information

Esteve Espelt was born in 1956. Son of a large family and sixth of seven brothers. Since his childhood he enjoyed with all related to the painting and the sculpture.

From 14 years, finished the primary education he started being employed in planxisteria Berguedana . Under the order of Enric Montanya i Tristany learned in the art of molding and transforming the sheet and the metal.

During the last 30 years Esteve Espelt has gone on his self-taught form he painting and the sculpture, which has been arranging with his professional occupation. From 1993 his dedication in painting and to the sculptures has gone in increase and his has let him to exhibiting in diverse places and localities, always of collective form. During five of the latter years, the author assisted at Marta Parera's workshops,licenxsed in Fine arts and recognized Berguedana painter.

At present the author has dedicated great part of his last two years in the confection of his last work “ Corpus:Feeling of Patum”
